Tack on craft beer Thursdays.let’s just say I’ve taken pictures of my receipts for the tweeps to see how crazy low some of the prices are! I’m a day drinker and Patrick’s has their regulars and their busier times. Always good craft to be found and the price’s are typically golden on their selections. I tend to ’get nose-y’ when deciding and choose from the cooler and not the menu. The place mat serves as their bottle beer menu, it’s updated seasonally so there is transition as the beers come and go but the coolers are always stocked. The beer on draft rotates often so I keep track via their twitter feed or online. The 6 Pack Shop (access through the outside dining area entrance). The Dining Area (can access through the bar or its own separate outside entrance). Shawn, the owner, has been transforming this bar into the best valued craft beer destination west of Pittsburgh. it’s not that far and what you pay for gas you’ll more than make up for in the price of the beer.Hidden Gem. If you can’t come up with a better place to go, try Ohio. Bomber prices were reasonable for a bottle shop in PA, but not very good compared to the free world out there. individual 12 oz bottles start at $2 and the highest I saw was $5.50 (put it back on the shelf while being rang out). The guy at the counter was nice enough, but when asked about whether brand x beer was worth anything, I got the answer Yeah. I only saw two indicators of price anywhere. If you find a six pack of something that you like, you can split it, but there may be a pile of individual bottles of the same just around the corner.

They have lots of good beer, but the display is insanely archaic. There seems to be a complete lack of organization, clarity in pricing, selection of product, etc. I only went in the bottle shop portion of the store, so I can’t speak for the Trivia Lounge, but the bottle shop is quite a trip. So I had fairly big hopes riding on this one, that finally I would find that holy grail of a bottle shop in PA that had good selection, reasonable prices, knowledgeable staff, etc.
